I think this looks like a calla lily or maybe an iris – both types of flowers. The color even reminds me of them- my favorite calla lilies are the purple ones. It reminds me of an impressionistic painting with lots of motion, subtle colors and simulated light. But seems more like Monet’s expressionistic movement – his paintings became less impressionistic , distinct style but could easily tell the subject matter, to more expressionistic, more emotion and less realism, as his eyesight worsened.
It looks like a painting to me. The first thing I noticed was a man wearing what looks like a colonial styled hat in the middle of the picture, but I am pretty sure that is not the author's intent.
I was thinking it looked like a rock such as quartz.
ReplyDeleteIt is ice up close.

ReplyDeleteI was thinking that it looks like ice on a frosted window. Like when a window frosts because of the cold and starts developing ice patterns.
ReplyDeleteTo me, this also looks like an up-close picture of frost.
ReplyDeleteit looks like vegetation growing in a garden.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a painting of a flower or something close up.
ReplyDeleteHi I think that it looks like frost on a window. I am always amazed at the patterns and the hues of the colors in these. Thanks Maria
ReplyDeleteIt is frost on a window. Taken during sunrise, it captures the beautiful subtle colors of the morning sun.
